Message yeah, i certainly love so much about the car that i am kind of afraid that if i got rid of it i would miss it far more than i can imagine. this particular Z though may just have to be sold. it is really starting to reach the equilibrium point of good vs bad for me. i am so incredibly anal-retentive and obsessive that it drives me insane some times. i've been thinking that what i may do is to sell it and save up some to get a VERY clean, low milage 95 or 94 twin turbo. with all that i've learned from my 2+2, i think that i could give it a thorough enough inspection to find one that actually meets my standards. i imagine that i would have to pay a real premium for a car to be in such good shape, but for the peace of mind, i would definitely be willing to. if i could have a Z that really is "like-new" then i think a lot of my complaints would go away. with this particular Z, it really is just all of the little stuff that gets me. well, that and being a college student who can just barely afford to keep up the maintenance and repairs on it.

i still have this dream of getting a clean (think Pats300ZX clean) 95 twin turbo and doing a few basic bolt-on upgrades (boost controller, turbo timer, full labree exhaust--downpipes and all, pop charger, ecu and boost jets, short shifter, lightweight flywheel and upgraded clutch, tein or jic coilovers or eibach springs with agx shocks, subframe bushings, brake cylinder brace, rear stb, upgraded sway bars, adjustable tension rods, adjustable upper a-arms front and rear, and a +1 wheel and tire package), but otherwise just keeping it very immaculate.
don't get me wrong, i would still drive it often and i would probably roadrace it as well if i have time/money to.
but for now, it is just a pipe-dream. simply because of the ease and practicality, the wrx wagon idea seems likely to take its place.
